"The Witch's Familiar" é o segundo episódio da nona temporada da série britânica de ficção-científica Doctor Who. Ele é dirigido por Hettie MacDonald, escrito por Steven Moffat, e estrelado por Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Michelle Gomez e Julian Bleach.

Preso e sozinho numa aterrorizante cidade Dalek, o Doutor (Capaldi) está no coração de um Império do mal. Sem chave de fenda sônica, sem a TARDIS, sem ninguém para ajudar, nem mesmo sua acompanhante Clara Oswald (Coleman) ou Missy (Gomez), o Doutor enfrenta Davros (Bleach), criador dos Daleks, um dos seus maiores inimigos. Com sua maior tentação diante dele, o Doutor poderá resistir? E haverá piedade ou misericórdia?

O episódio é simplesmente maravilhoso. Com atuações muito bem feitas, com destaque para a de Gomez, como a enigmática e hilária Missy, mais conhecida como O Mestre. O visual do episódio é muito bom, com cenários muito legais. O humor do episódio, que principalmente vem da atuação de Gomez, está presente nesse episódio. Com cenas tensas, e um final lindo, "The Witch's Familiar" é uma ótima continuação para "The Magician's Apprentice", e o melhor episódio da temporada até agora!!!

"The Witch's Familiar" is the second episode of the ninth series of the British sci-fi series Doctor Who. It is directed by Hettie MacDonald, written by Steven Moffat, and starred by Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Michelle Gomez and Julian Bleach.

Trapped and alone in a terrifying Dalek city, the Doctor (Capaldi) is in the heart of an evil Empire. With no sonic screwdriver, no TARDIS, with nobody to help, not even his companion Clara Oswald (Coleman) or Missy (Gomez), the Doctor faces Davros (Bleach), creator of the Daleks, one of his greatest enemies. With his greatest temptation before him, can the Doctor resist? And will there be mercy?

The episode is simply wonderful. With very good acting, especially Gomez's performance as the enigmatic and hilarious Missy, also known as the Master. The visuals of the episode are very good, with awesome scenarios. The humor of the episode, most of it coming from Gomez's performance, is present in this episode. With some tense scenes, and a beautiful ending, "The Witch's Familiar" is a great sequel to "The Magician's Apprentice", and the best episode of the ninth series so far!!!
