"Caça-Fantasmas" (Ghostbusters) é um filme estadunidense de 2016 do gênero comédia sobrenatural dirigido por Paul Feig e estrelado por Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth e Neil Casey. O filme é um reboot da franquia criada por Dan Aykroyd e Harold Ramis.

O filme se ambienta em Nova York, e conta a história de Erin Gilbert (Wiig), professora da Universidade Columbia, que depois de receber a informação de que um fantasma assombra uma mansão, chama sua amiga Abby Yates (McCarthy), junto com a engenheira Jillian Holtzmann (McKinnon), para explorar a mansão. Depois que elas provam que fantasmas são reais, são demitidas de seus trabalhos, e começam uma equipe que "combate" fantasmas, junto com a atendente de metrô Patty Tolan (Jones), que também testemunhou acontecimentos sobrenaturais em seu trabalho. e o recepcionista Kevin (Chris Hemsworth).

Pode não chegar aos pés do original, mas mesmo assim, Paul Feig (diretor de Missão Madrinha de Casamento) junta uma história interessante com personagens carismáticos e muitos efeitos especiais.
O filme junta ótimas atuações de Wiig, McCarthy, McKinnon, Jones e Hemsworth, que fazem uma ótima adição à franquia oitentista de Dan Aykroyd e Harold Ramis. Tem humor, tem momentos assustadores, tem participações do elenco do filme original.
E esperem até o final dos créditos, pois, assim como um filme do Universo Cinematográfico da Marvel, esse filme tem uma cena pós-créditos que só os fãs de carteirinha do filme original vão entender!!

The movie is a reboot of the franchise created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.

The movie tells the story of Erin Gilbert (Wiig), a teacher at Columbia University, in New York, who receives an information that a ghost is haunting an old mansion. So she calls her old friend Abby Yates (McCarthy), along with engineer Jillian Holtzmann (McKinnon), to explore the mansion. After proving that ghosts are real, they are dismissed from their jobs and they start a team that fights ghosts in New York, along with MTA worker Patty Tolan (Jones), who also experienced supernatural occurrences in her job, and their receptionist Kevin (Hemsworth).

Even if it isn't better than the original film, Paul Feig (director of Bridesmaids) still puts together an interesting story, charismatic characters and a hell of a lot of special effects. Wiig, McCarthy, McKinnon, Jones and Hemsworth give great performances and are great additions to the 80s franchise created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It has humor, scary moments, and cameos from the cast of the original film.
And wait until the credits are done, just like the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, because this movie has a post-credits scene that only the really devoted fans of the original movie will understand!!!
