"Stranger Things" é uma série Original Netflix estadunidense de 2016 do gênero suspense/ficção-científica criada por Matt e Ross Duffer e estrelada por Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer e Charlie Heaton.
A primeira temporada da série original Netflix, com 8 episódios, estreou no serviço de streaming na última sexta, 15 de julho.

Hawkins, Indiana. 1983. 4 amigos: Mike (Wolfhard), Lucas (McLaughlin), Dustin (Matarazzo) e Will (Schnapp) jogam Dungeons & Dragons. Depois do jogo, Will desaparece do nada, deixando sua mãe Joyce (Ryder) e irmão Jonathan (Heaton) desesperados.
Os três amigos ficam arrasados, e assim como toda a população da cidade, decidem procurar pelo seu desaparecido amigo, mas acabam encontrando alguém diferente: uma misteriosa garota (Brown), que atende por Onze, que diz conhecer Will.

A primeira temporada é simplesmente incrível. Ambientada na minha década favorita da história (anos 80), com atuações ótimas de todo o elenco, tanto adulto (com destaque para Ryder), quanto mirim, com uma incrível trilha sonora, e várias homenagens aos filmes e cultura dos anos 80, com destaque para os filmes de Steven Spielberg, "Stranger Things", pra mim, é a melhor série original da Netflix até agora.
É uma das obras mais emocionantes de ficção-científica que eu já vi, com momentos emocionantes, tristes, violentos, assustadores, e, de fato, estranhos.
Matt e Ross Duffer conseguem juntar uma história mais que interessante, com personagens misteriosos, fotografia e recursos fantásticos, e referências aos anos 80, que resulta nessa série simplesmente maravilhosa.
Pra quem gosta de filmes e séries como "Super 8", "Arquivo X" e "E.T.: O Extraterrestre", altamente recomendo "Stranger Things" para vocês!! Vocês não irão se arrepender!!

Hawkins, Indiana. 1983. 4 friends: Mike (Wolfhard), Lucas (McLaughlin), Dustin (Matarazzo) and Will (Schnapp) play Dungeons & Dragons. After the game, Will goes missing, vanishing into thin air, leaving his mother, Joyce (Ryder) and older brother, Jonathan (Heaton) desperate.
His three friends are worried and, like the entire population of the city, decide to look for their missing friend. But, in their journey, they end up finding someone else: a mysterious girl (Brown), who goes by the name of Eleven, and she says she knows Will.

The first season is simply amazing. Placed in my favorite decade in history (the 80s), with jaw-dropping acting by the whole cast, adults (especially Ryder's acting) and children, with an awesome soundtrack and several homages to the movies and culture of the 80s, especially Steven Spielberg's movies, "Stranger Things", in my opinion, is the best Netflix Original series to date.
It is one of the most thrilling pieces of science-fiction I've ever seen, with exciting, heartbreaking, violent, scary, and, indeed, strange moments.
Matt and Ross Duffer could put together a more than interesting story, with mysterious characters, fantastic cinematography and resources, and references to the 80s, that result in this simply fantastic series.
For those who like movies and TV shows like "Super 8", "The X-Files", and "E.T.: The Extraterrestrial", I highly recommend "Stranger Things" to you guys!! You won't regret it!!
