“Star Wars: Os
Últimos Jedi” (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) é um filme estadunidense
de 2017 do gênero ópera espacial dirigido por Rian Johnson e
estrelado por Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac,
Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline
Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Lupita Nyong'o, Laura Dern, Benicio del
Toro, Peter Mayhew e Anthony Daniels. É o nono filme na saga Star
Wars, sendo também conhecido como Episódio VIII.
O filme se passa depois
dos acontecimentos de O Despertar da Força, onde Rey (Ridley)
encontra Luke Skywalker (Hamill), e busca, com sua mentoria, entender
o equilíbrio da Força a partir de seus ensinamentos. Enquanto isso,
a Primeira Ordem de Kylo Ren (Driver) se reorganiza para enfrentar a
Aliança Rebelde, liderada pela General Leia Organa (Fisher).
Esse é provavelmente,
o filme com temática nerd mais esperado do ano, e quando essa nova
trilogia da saga foi anunciada, fiquei bastante animado, pois um dos
meus diretores favoritos dessa nova geração, J.J. Abrams, foi meio
que o cabeça dessa nova trilogia. O diretor da vez é Rian Johnson,
que também roteiriza o filme sozinho. Conheço ele principalmente
por Looper: Assassinos do Futuro, de 2012, e por seus episódios de
Breaking Bad. Ele é muito bom! E como os fãs mais devotos da saga
estavam reclamando que o episódio VII foi um completo reboot do
episódio IV, posso lhes dizer que Os Últimos Jedi possui uma
história original, cheia de reviravoltas e carga emocional. O
roteiro é um dos mais ousados e sombrios da saga, contendo seus
toques de nostalgia, mas também focando em sua originalidade (só
não consegue ser mais sombrio do que Rogue One).
Os visuais, um dos
aspectos mais importantes quando se fala de Star Wars, são de tirar
o fôlego, com cores vibrantes e cenários exóticos. Se o episódio
VII serviu como uma simples apresentação dos personagens novos, o
episódio VIII aproveita a chance de desenvolver esses personagens.
Os que foram mais desenvolvidos dos novos foram a Rey, interpretada
por Ridley, e Kylo Ren, interpretado por Driver, que possuem uma
química inesperada aqui. Dos personagens originais da saga, o que
foi bem mais desenvolvido foi o Luke, interpretado com maestria (e
humor) por Hamill. As críticas dizem que é o melhor filme da saga
desde Star Wars: O Império Contra-Ataca, e posso dizer que é
verdade, por sua originalidade e carga emocional (na verdade, tá
empatado com Rogue One).
Narrativamente ousado,
visualmente fantástico, e emocionalmente carregado, “Star Wars: Os
Últimos Jedi” é mais um capítulo incrível na saga nerd mais
amada por todos.
Adorei!! Totalmente
recomendo para os fãs de carteirinha e os fãs de O Despertar da
Força!!! Nota 10 de 10!!

The film is set after
The Force Awakens, where Rey (Ridley) finds Luke Skywalker (Hamill),

the Force with his teachings. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren's (Driver) First
Order reorganizes itself to face the Rebel Alliance, led by General
Leia Organa (Fisher).
This is probably the
most awaited geeky film of the year, and when this new trilogy was
announced, I was very excited, because one of my favorite directors
of our generation, J.J. Abrams, is the head of this new trilogy. Rian
Johnson is in the director's chair this time, and he also wrote the
script. I know him mostly because of Looper, from 2012, and his
episodes from Breaking Bad. He is really good! And because of all the
hardcore fans complaining that Episode VII was a complete rehash of
Episode IV, I can safely tell you “The Last Jedi” has an original
story, filled with twists and emotional charges. The script is one of
the saga's most daring and darkest ones yet, having its time on
nostalgia, but also focusing on its originality (although it's not
darker than Rogue One). The visuals, one of the main aspects when you
talk about Star Wars, are breathtaking, with vibrant colors and
exotic scenarios. If Episode VII served as a simple introduction to
the new characters, Episode VIII takes the chance to work on those
characters. The new ones who were more worked on were Rey, played by
Ridley, and Kylo Ren, played by Driver, who possess an unexpected
chemistry in this film. Of the original characters of the saga, the
one who got way more work than the others was Luke, played
masterfully (and humorously) by Hamill. Critics say it's the best SW
movie since The Empire Strikes Back, and I can say that's true, due
to its originality and emotional charge (actually, it's a tie with
Rogue One).
Narratively daring,
visually fantastic, and emotionally charged, “Star Wars: The Last
Jedi” is another fine, incredible chapter in the geeky saga that's
loved by everybody!
I loved it!! I truly
recommend it to hardcore fans and fans of The Force Awakens!! I give
it a 10 out of 10!!!
