"Coraline e o Mundo Secreto" (Coraline) é um filme de animação em stop-motion estadunidense de 2009 do gênero suspense/aventura/terror dirigido por Henry Selick e estrelado pelas vozes originais de Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Dawn French, Ian McShane, Jennifer Saunders, John Hodgman e Robert Bailey Jr. O longa é baseado no fantástico romance de mesmo nome de Neil Gaiman.
O filme conta a história de Coraline Jones (voz de Fanning), uma menina de 11 anos que acaba de se mudar com seus pais (vozes de Hatcher e Hodgman) para um novo lar em uma casa de 3 andares chamada Palácio Cor-de-Rosa, cujos vizinhos são as Senhoritas Spink e Forcible (vozes de French e Saunders), ex-artistas; o Sr. Bobinsky (voz de McShane), dono de um futuro circo de camundongos; e Wybie Lovat (voz de Bailey Jr.), um menino cuja avó é dona da casa. Entediada em seu novo lar, Coraline descobre uma porta que leva à um mundo quase perfeito, mas há um problema: os habitantes tem botões como olhos, e de pouco a pouco, os "outros pais" da menina querem mantê-la no mundo deles para sempre.
O filme é visualmente fantástico, a história é simplesmente aterrorizante. E esse filme marcou minha vida, sendo o primeiro filme em 3D no cinema que eu vi. E foi uma experiência incrível. O livro de Neil Gaiman é fantástico, igual o filme. Os dois estão em empate na minha opinião. Indicado a 1 Oscar (Melhor Filme de Animação), "Coraline" é visualmente arrebatador, simplesmente assustador, e uma explosão de efeitos especiais e cores. Adorei! Super recomendo!!!

"Coraline" is a 2009 American stop-motion animated 3D horror/adventure/dark fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and starred by the voices of Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Dawn French, Ian McShane, Jennifer Saunders, John Hodgman and Robert Bailey, Jr. It is based on the fantastic novel of the same name written by Neil Gaiman.
The film tells the story of Coraline Jones (voice of Fanning), an 11-year-old girl who moves with her parents (voices of Hatcher and Hodgman) to a new home in a 3-story house called "The Pink Palace", whose residents are Miss Spink and Miss Forcible (voices of French and Saunders), a pair of retired burlesque artists; Mr. Bobinsky (voice of McShane), owner of a future mouse circus; and Wybie Lovat (voice of Bailey Jr.), whose grandmother owns the "Palace". Bored in her new home, Coraline discovers a secret door that leads to an almost perfect world, but there is a problem: its habitants have buttons instead of eyes, and as time goes by, her "Other Parents" want to keep her in their world forever.
The film is visually fantastic, its story is simply terrifying. And this movie really marked my life as the first 3D movie I've seen in a movie theater. And it was an amazing experience. Neil Gaiman's book is as amazing as this movie, I call it a tie! Being an Oscar-nominated movie (Best Animated Feature), "Coraline" is visually groundbreaking, simply creepy, and it's an explosion of visual effects and colors. I love this movie!!!! I highly recommend it for you guys!!
